But too many Yoga teachers I know are stuck playing small. Many don’t know how to get started, or how to promote their amazing gifts and talents in a way that feels comfortable. Many experienced teachers struggle with low income, teach too many classes, get bogged down in admin, and then burn out in exhaustion! Can we help others if we are burning out ourselves? No way.
This isn’t what the Goddess wants for you. The Goddess wants abundance to flow to each and every one of us. The Goddess wants you to radiate love and passion, to be strong and joyful, to reach the students you are meant to reach, and to have all the income you need to truly thrive.
I’m Laura Cornell, and I’ve been where you are. I’ve been a Yoga teacher since 1995, and I struggled for many years with low income and with the frustration that comes from not reaching the students I knew I was meant to serve.
I was passionate about Yoga for women, and did my Masters level research on the Moon Salutation, highlighting women’s voices and women’s contributions in Yoga.
I was passionate about the environment, and founded a national non-profit on Yoga and ecology, the Green Yoga Association. By most measures we were HIGHLY successful.
We produced two major conferences on Yoga and ecology, initiated a Green Yoga Studios movement (which now has almost 500 members) and the Green Yoga teacher leadership program. We were featured in over 15 magazines. Perhaps most amazingly, I sold 10,000 non-toxic mats through my living room, all before most people even knew what a non-toxic mat was!
Can you hear the “but” coming? Here it is: No one had ever shown me how to run a successful business. No one had given me an empowered business model that could transform our large number of devoted followers into a healthy stream of income.
Worst of all, I had bought into the idea that money wasn’t spiritual, and that I shouldn’t “worry” about it or plan for it! Right.
I finally had to step away in shame and exhaustion from the organization I had founded, simply because I didn’t know how to provide for it financially!
I learned the hard way that money IS spiritual, just as much as the environment and our beautiful planet is spiritual. It’s all part of our sacred embodiment. It’s the earth element, the root chakra. It’s the Lakshmi energy that blesses our most cherished projects and work with sustenance, prosperity and peace.
After this experience, I promised myself that I would learn everything I could to prevent a repeat! I never wanted to be in that position again. I studied everything I could find on accounting, business planning, and breaking through fears and doubts.
Finally, I cracked the code. I came to realize that the Goddess provides everything I need for an empowered business model. And with the Goddess as my guide, I set out again to serve in a big way.
The results? In just one year, I grew my email list from two hundred to over four thousand names. I produced the Divine Feminine Yoga Telesummit, with 15 expert teachers and four thousand attendees. And my yoga income in the past four months was more than triple my yoga income from any previous YEAR. In the process, I provided such powerful service that I now regularly receive AT LEAST one email a day from someone I have never met, thanking me profusely for the difference I have made in her life.
Most importantly, I now get to do the work I LOVE serving clients and students I ABSOLUTELY ADORE. I have the resources I need to support my Divine Feminine Yoga business, and that feels fantastic. Best of all, I know I am doing the work I was sent here to do. I am so grateful for my life.

What about housing, meals, and travel?
After you register your ticket you will immediately receive an email with instructions on securing housing. Limited dorm housing is available onsite, with additional rooms available in nearby hotels and motels. Several restaurants and grocery stores may be found near the retreat, including a delicious vegan restaurant right across the street. Our onsite ambassador will be ready to assist you in finding the food you need.
The retreat is located in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida, an hour from the Jacksonville airport and under two hours from Orlando. We start at 6:30pm Sunday, March 25, and end at 4:00 pm Tuesday, March 27. Shuttle service is available from the Jacksonville airport.
