Laura, can you tell us about the location?
We’ve chosen the beautiful Embassy Suite Hotels for both our San Francisco and DC events. Most importantly, these hotels are CONVENIENT: A free shuttle from either San Francisco or Reagan National Aiports will take you to the hotel in just ten minutes, or fly into other regional airports if you prefer.
Free hot-cooked breakfast including yogurt, fruit, and lots more is included in your stay. All Embassy Suites rooms are mini-suites with a pull-out couch in the living room and two double beds in the bedroom, so it’s easy to share with one or two others. We’ll even help you find a roommate on our Facebook retreat event page.
Even more, these hotels are BEAUTIFUL! Centered around an atrium filled with flowering plants, waterfalls, and ponds with koi fish, the environment is perfect for Goddess Lakshmi!
In San Francisco: The retreat is located directly on San Francisco Bay, with direct access to the San Francisco Bay Trail and a beautiful water view right outside the door.
In Washington DC a free shuttle from the hotel will take you to the Metro just minutes away. Arrive early and enjoy a quick trip downtown for a tour organized just for us at the Smithsonian’s special yoga history exhibit!
What if I prefer not to stay at the hotel?
That’s fine. You don’t have to stay onsite. However, I do recommend you stay as nearby as possible to minimize your commute time, and to create ease and focus for your transformation during the retreat.

Why are you asking for a deposit?
Yes, you do have a free ticket! We’re not asking you to pay for your space. You will receive a check for $97, the exact amount of your deposit, the moment you enter the retreat room for the workshop. Space is limited and this retreat may sell out. We would hate to turn away someone when there was actually space available.
The no-show deposit is our way of knowing who is actually attending, so we can plan materials, activities, and assistants appropriately, and so we don’t turn away others who want to attend when we actually still have space.
