When I was approached by the Shift Network, a company whose values I highly respect, to partner with them as host of the upcoming Future of Yoga Summit, my first inner response was yes. My heart knew I was in.
But on another level, I was scared. Did I have the time for this? Was I up to the increased visibility it would bring? Could I maintain my own ~ my personal balance, my commitment to my truth, my commitment to women and Divine Feminine Yoga ~ even while partnering with a company owned by a guy?
After thoughtful exploration and several conversations with the staff at Shift, and after consulting my own inner and outer guides, I decided to go for it. I launched into the project with enthusiasm and gratitude. It has been wonderful to work with such a well-oiled team!
And as I approach the first interviews, I continue to get quivers. Can you relate? Every time we launch into a new phase of our growth, there is the opportunity for self-doubt.
But equally present is the opportunity for trust! What a beautiful quality of the Goddess to cultivate.
Yes, we do have to show up and do the work, but along with that, we can trust that we are being divinely guided, trust that our heart will lead us the way we need to go, trust that we wouldn’t have been given this opportunity if we weren’t ready.
While we do sometimes choose to say no (I said no to a similar opportunity at about the same time), when we are clear that a project is right for us, it’s good to relax and let Spirit do the heavy lifting.
When we soften into our deeper readiness ~ years of personal practice, related previous experience, and yes, the support of angels ~ those angels come forward to meet us with heartfelt messages, surprise helpers, friends, and clarity, exactly when we need them.

Take some time in meditation to check in with your inner guidance, and trust what you find there. The universe is on your side!
